A private co-operative for used and pre-market equipment
Trucks, tractor units, machinery and cars from European and North American countries, on their way to markets where they will run for years to come.
Supplier and buyer are both vetted before they are admitted; UNIMA gives both sides certainty and guides the transaction.
What UNIMA does
The Unima Co-operative brings the two sides together and guides the process. It is a co-operative with members on two sides: suppliers in Europe and North America disposing of equipment, and buyers beyond those markets who give it a second life.
Vehicles, vessels and machinery
Tractor units and trucks, buses, passenger cars and vans, agricultural and earthmoving equipment, mining machinery, generators, boats and industrial machines — sixteen main categories. Equipment written off in Europe or North America that runs on elsewhere for years.
A vetted circle, and no worries after the purchase
Every supplier in the network has been vetted and certified by UNIMA before being allowed to supply. Not an unknown party behind an advertisement, but an affiliated member with a name at stake. After the purchase UNIMA arranges the entire process: transport to the port, export documents, inspection and shipment.
Buyers who have already proved themselves
Anyone applying as a buyer does not enter the co-operative straight away. He is first assessed and begins on the lowest membership with a limited number of units. Only when those transactions run well does full admission follow. You therefore supply parties who have already demonstrated their reliability.
Where do you stand?
The two sides each follow their own route. Choose yours.
For buyers
Traders, importers and fleet owners who buy equipment and ship it to their own market.
What UNIMA does for buyersFor suppliers
Haulage companies, contractors, rental firms and dealers in Europe and North America replacing their fleet or machine park.
What UNIMA does for suppliersWhat is traded
Sixteen main categories, from passenger cars to mining equipment. Every member states what he trades in; beyond that he is shown nothing.

Admission is not a formality
The same rule applies on both sides: nobody becomes a member straight away. Buyers begin on the lowest membership; suppliers first deliver a batch under supervision. Whoever proves himself is taken in. That is precisely what makes the membership worth holding.
